Swedish American Patriotic League - Sveadal
SAPL will be following all Orders in accordance with the State of California and Santa Clara County.
Being a non-essential business, Sveadal is open with limited facilities.
All events and meetings have been
postponed or canceled through July including Midsummer. As restrictions relax, we will follow the guidelines and keep you posted.
Please reference this chart for specific data and orders.
We are looking forward to the days when we can all gather again to celebrate in vibrant fashion.
Till Then....Till Din Hälsa! (To your health!)
Please see our updated calendar for event cancellations and schedule changes

Sveadal Pool Rules
Under careful consideration of the revised SCC orders, Sveadal will be opening the pool in a modified fashion starting Saturday, June 27. All health, safety, and social-distancing protocols have been reviewed & implemented, and will be followed in order for us to keep the pool open.
The new Pool Rules documents is located on the right. Please read carefully. At this time, the pool is available for limited use and you can sign-up with our online system. The link to the reservation system is in the Pool Rules. The county is allowing our pool to be open under strict social distancing and sanitation requirements, so it will NOT be the usual social gathering spot.
The pool we have in our private community is regulated as a public pool. We cannot jeopardize our health permits, insurance, or lawsuit, and must protect them, and the health of our community at all costs. Please know that we need the community's cooperation to make this work.
As we have no revenue coming in, we have limited management. If you plan on coming to Sveadal, please review this information with your family members. Many people continue to Shelter In Place (SIP) and there are only limited facilities available at this time. Please refer to our facilities chart here
Also attached, please find a form of general liability waiver, which releases SAPL and its officers from liability relating to any potential COVID-19 exposure in Sveadal. This waiver is self-executing, in that it will be deemed to have been agreed to by members upon their entry into Sveadal. Accordingly, you do not need to physically sign this waiver or send us any correspondence to acknowledge receipt. We have also prepared a separate form of this same waiver to be signed by service providers who we bring on site to perform their duties.
Please note that we consider opening facilities with an abundance of caution through this pandemic. Your friends on the Sveadal Board have done the difficult task of researching the county protocols and will continue doing everything they can to follow the regulations in order to make Sveadal available.
Sveadal is a great place, with a wide latitude of attitudes. Please be kind, and co-exist as we navigate through this summer. Stay safe!
